Summer Food Programs in Ansley and Broken Bow

BROKEN BOW–Summer is here and it is time to make sure kids eat healthy while school is out! Broken Bow Public Schools partnered with the USDA to provide FREE meals to children during the summer.

Meals are served at North Park Elementary, 1135 North H Street in Broken Bow, Monday, through Friday at 12:00 p.m. No income or registration requirements. Any children ages 1-18 years old can eat for free. Adults are welcome to attend but will be charged $3.55.  Exact change is required because summer staff are unable to make change. This program will run until July 31, but will not be open May 28 or July 4.

ANSLEY–Ansley Public Schools have published a menu for the month of June: Ansley Summer Lunch Program June. Lunch is free to anyone ages 18 and under. Adults are welcome to eat but will be charged $5 per meal. New this summer, chef salads will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Lunch will be served at 12 p.m. daily and Wednesday activities will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ansley school (1124 Cameron St, Ansley, NE 68814). There will be no lunch June 25-27.

Township Library Story hours will take place on Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
