Steak Fry Events Postponed To September 14 And 21

BROKEN BOW— The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce Steak Fry has been a staple to round out the summer as the community moves into fall. This year however, the women’s and men’s steak fries will be moved to September.

With the Custer County Fair last week and the Sandhills Open Road Challenge later this week, the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors felt it was in the best interest of the community to postpone the event. While new cases of COVID-19 have remained relatively low in the Custer County area, businesses and individuals were still concerned with having a gathering right after the previously mentioned events.

With that in mind, the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce has decided to postpone the Ladies Steak Fry to September 14 and the Men’s Steak Fry to September 21. Tickets can still be purchased at the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce for $25 for the Ladies Steak Fry and $30 for the Men’s Steak Fry.

For those who have purchased tickets, but are unable to attend, contact the Chamber of Commerce for a full refund.
