The State College Board of Trustees gave the top four leaders of the state college system 1.5 percent raises Tuesday.
The trustees met at Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln.
Chancellor Stan Carpenter, who oversees the three-college system, will be paid $270,589 if he works the full fiscal year. Carpenter has announced that he will retire when a new chancellor is selected and is ready to take the job. Carpenter was paid $266,590 in 2017-18.
Each of the three state colleges — Peru State, Wayne State and Chadron State — has a president.
Peru State President Dan Hanson will receive $200,554, up from $197,590. Wayne State President Marysz Rames will make $212,227, up from $209,090. And Chadron State President Randy Rhine will earn $195,249, up from $192,363.
Rank-and-file employees and faculty members had their 2018-19 raises set in April. All of the raises kick in on July 1.
Professional staff and faculty members will receive 1.5 percent raises. Support staff will get 1 percent raises.
