Elizabeth Tegtmeier, who is running for a seat on the Nebraska State Board of Education in District 7, will be holding a meet and greet in Merna on Thursday, April 7 at the Merna Community Center from 5-7 PM.
Elizabeth is a North Platte native and graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. According to her campaign page, she taught for three years in the North Platte School District and earned a Master’s of Science in Education with a focus on curriculum and instruction. She and her husband have five children and currently live in North Platte.
