Stanton Man Charged with Manslaughter

STANTON — A Stanton man has been charged with manslaughter in the death of another Stanton native.

After an investigation by the Stanton County Sheriff’s office, 24-year-old Tucker Lanz was found to be the man behind the wheel in a car accident that caused the death of 22-year-old Hunter Hetzler. Alcohol, illegal drugs, and speeding were all factors that contributed to the fatal crash on May 12th.

Lanz’s initial court appearance will be on July 24th at the Stanton County Court.
