NORFOLK - An Illinois woman is in a northeast Nebraska jail after she was found with a stolen truck at an apartment she didn't belong in.
Norfolk Police say 40-year old Lillian Bordenkecher was arrested last week. Police were called to an apartment in the 1000-block of Taylor Avenue, after the property owner there said Bordenkecher was staying a rental property without paying rent and without his knowledge.
Investigating officers found that Bordenkecher in possession of a pickup truck from Illinois that had been reported stolen.
She faces charges of possession of stolen property and is currently housed in the Madison County Jail.
