The name of a brand of jeans was the correct answer that gave Ainsworth the victory over Broken Bow Wednesday afternoon in the 2021 SWC quiz bowl championship match. After going 2-1 in pool play to open up the day, Ainsworth defeated Valentine 45-5 to make it into the championship where they won on the final toss up question to secure a 35-30 win over Broken Bow. For runner-up Broken Bow, they started the day on fire with a 90-5 victory over Valentine. That win was the first of three for them as they went undefeated 3-0 in pool play. Broken Bow then edged out Gothenburg 50-45 in a very entertaining match to make it to the championship against Ainsworth.
