The South Loup Bobcats will face off against Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing today in the state football quarterfinals in Class D1. South Loup has advanced through the playoffs with wins against Dundy County Stratton (48-22) and Elm Creek (36-22). CWCE has advanced with wins over Palmer (72-12) and Kenesaw (27-7). Today’s game will feature 2 of the top 5 rushing leaders in the state. Jack Rush for South Loup and Daniel Libolt for CWCE. Today’s game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 pm with pregame coverage beginning around 3:40. The winner will advance to the semifinals and play the winner of Perkins County vs. Med. Valley.
