South Loup would quickly answer as Jack Rush would connect with Cade Connell on the ensuing possession for a 63 yard TD pass to tie the score up at 6-6. Unfortunately for the Bobcats, that would be as close as the game would get as East Butler went on to score the next 30 points. South Loup did get on the board again with 3 seconds remaining in the game when Jack Rush hit Jace Connell on a 15-yard touchdown pass to make the final score East Butler 36 South Loup 14.
