UPDATING: Snow Emergencies Being Declared Across the State

NORFOLK — Cities across Nebraska are issuing snow emergencies as a severe spring storm starts to hit the state.

Snow emergencies typically mean parking bans go into effect.  Many cities declare that residents can only park on one side of the street and restrict all parking on snow emergency routes.  The bans are put in place to expedite the plowing process.

Check your town’s website to see exactly what your snow emergency means.
