Single Vehicle Accident Sends Three Juveniles To The Hospital

ACCIDENT— Three juveniles, one from Anselmo, two from Broken Bow, were taken to the hospital following a one-vehicle accident on Thursday, July 15. According to the accident report from the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, the white 2002 Ford F-150 was traveling south on Road 430, approximately two miles east of Anselmo, when the juvenile driver lost control of the pickup. The vehicle ran off the road to the right into the west ditch where it collided with an embankment resulting in the pickup rotating 180° facing north.

According to the report, the juvenile driver and both juvenile passengers said they were traveling south when the pickup became out of control and crashed into the embankment. One of the passengers stated they did not remember the events following the crash. All three were taken to Melham Medical Center by a third party with possible head injuries.

The front airbags deployed in the vehicle and seatbelts were not used by any of the occupants.

The pickup was listed as totaled.
