Shotgun Annie’s To Host Breakfast For Braxton On Sunday

CALLAWAY— ‘Tis the season of giving and no one understands that more than a little boy from Callaway. Braxton Anderson, son TR and Cassie Anderson, made headlines when he donated 12-quarters to Tabitha’s Meals on Wheels. The donation began the trickle effect and soon people from all over began donating to the program, resulting in thousands of dollars being donated to Meals on Wheels.

Braxton, or Brax, was born with his intestines outside his body, also known as gastroschisis. Braxton has endured over 70 surgeries to help fix the problem, but the road has not been easy. Even with someone who has endured all of this pain and scary moments in his life, caring about others is what has brought him joy.

Now, it is our turn to give back to the kid who has inspired many to give to those who need it most. Shotgun Annie’s will be hosting Breakfast for Braxton on Sunday, December 16 from 5-8 P.M. This is a free will donation breakfast buffet with all of the proceeds to go to the family to help with medical expenses and extended stay during Braxton’s major abdominal surgery. Some of the highlights include $2 Busch Lite draws with proceeds to go to Brax, a silent auction, and of course great food!

For those who cannot attend but would like to donate, please send your contributions to Shotgun Annie’s at PO Box 296 Callaway, NE 68825.
