Authorities Investigating Early Morning Burglary at Dickie Doodles

COLUMBUS - The Platte County Sheriff's Office is investigating an early morning burglary at Dickie Doodles Gas Station, and is asking for the public's help. The sheriff's office posted a photo of a white/gray older model Chevy Pickup on Facebook, that was taken after it left the scene of the burglary. The sheriff's office says the burglary they received an alarm call at Dickie Doodles, at 2:48 a.m. Thursday morning. The sheriffs office says items were loaded into the pickup, and was taken from the gas station that is located on East 29th Avenue.
