PLATTE CENTER - A sex offender was arrested in Platte Center, and is facing felonies in both Boone and Saline Counties, according to court records. Quentin Teeters, 29, of Wilber, was found guilty of a felony charge for failure to report to authorities, in August of 2016, and was sentenced to pay a fine, says court records. Teeters had warrants on two other felonies, for failing to report his address to Saline County or Boone County authorities, during timespans over the past two years, says court records. Teeters was arrested in Platte Center on Sunday, after the Platte County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous tip, says sheriff's records. Teeters was convicted of attempted possession of a visual depiction of sexually explicit content involving a child, in Hall County, and is on the registry for a term of 25 years starting in 2013, says sex offender registry. The original complaint from the state says in 2009, Teeters "did knowing possess with intent to rent, sell, deliver, distribute, trade or provide any person any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct which has a child as one of it's participants or portrayed observers."
