Seward Girl to Get Her Princess Wish, Public Invited to Surprise Her

SEWARD - Make-A-Wish Nebraska is asking for the community's help in granting the wish of a five-year-old Seward girl. Karis, who is battling Leukemia, has hopes to be a Princess. On Sunday, October 8, her Princess dream will come true when she learns of her surprise trip to Disney World Resorts. Seward Mayor Josh Eickmeier and President/CEO of Make-A-Wish Nebraska Brigette Young needs the public's help in filling the streets for her parade. You're encouraged to cheer on Karis and her family as they pass by in a horse-drawn carriage on the way to her reveal party. Community members interested in participating are asked to gather at 1:00 p.m. on 5th and Seward Streets for the two-block parade route.
This will make the 2,500th wish that Make-A-Wish Nebraska has granted.
