Severe Crash Shuts Down HWY 81 in North Norfolk

NORFOLK -- Emergency personnel responded to a multi-vehicle accident in Norfolk this afternoon. Norfolk Fire and Rescue responded to a crash scene at the intersection of Highway 81 and Georgia Avenue around 2:00.  Traffic in all lanes was shut down and slowly opened over the course of the afternoon. Multiple people are injured but the extent of injuries are unknown. This is a developing story.
