All are also welcome to attend the Sermons a la Carte. A press release from the Ministerial Association states that starting at 12:05 p.m., a twenty-five minute service, led by one of our area clergy members, will feature a devotional message accompanied by congregational music. At 12:30 p.m., the host church for that day will provide a luncheon. A free-will offering will be taken to defray the costs of the meal.

Pastor Bob Winn of the Faith Bible Church said the focus of the Sermons a la Carte is the resurrection of Christ that includes a meaningful time to hear other preachers and church musicians, as well as a time to connect with people from different church backgrounds and traditions–with some delicious food, too!

“Everyone enjoys coming together and we enjoy the services–that’s really the reason that we’re there–but we enjoy the fellowship that accompanies those services and the sharing of our lives, which is our lives in Christ, with other people of faith in the community,”  Pastor Winn told KCNI/KBBN.

All seven meetings will be held at the United Methodist Church, 1000 S. 3rd Avenue in Broken Bow from 12:05 -12:30 p.m. Each week, a different church is responsible for the message and music. Following each service, a meal will be provided to all who wish to participate.

“We’re focusing on the message of the cross and the resurrection and celebrating that by working on our relationships with one another in a very positive and pleasant way,” Pastor Winn continued. “The Sermons a al Carte is developing relationships with people of faith in our community through both the worship and the time of fellowship around the meal.”
