Schuyler Sees Uptick in Daytime Burglaries, Cash Reward Offered

SCHUYLER - Schuyler Police are encouraging area residents to make sure their homes are secure, following an uptick in daytime burglaries. Schuyler Police Chief K.C. Bang says they are looking for a suspect, who is described to be a white male, 5'6" -5'8" tall, clean shaven, and seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black sweater, and black pants. The man is reported to be in his 20's, and a $500 cash reward is being offered for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual, says Bang. Bang says Schuyler Residents should make sure that their homes are properly secured, and homes are locked up during the daytime hours. Bang also asks that residents be mindful of any suspicious activity that is taking place in their neighbor hoods.
