School Board, Ag Society, Supervisors, Council to Meet this Week

BROKEN BOW–A busy week for meetings!

The Broken Bow School Board will meet for a work session on Monday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. The board will be discussing the strategic plan, operations plan, American History textbooks, the board secretary position, and principal and superintendent contracts. Also on Monday, the Custer County Ag Society will meet at 7 p.m. Items on the agenda include Building 18, plans for roads, a new logo, and the 2018 Fair Premium book and fair schedule. Storm damage committees will also share updates. The Ag society will meet at the Shooting Sports Building at the Fairgrounds.

On Tuesday, March 13 the Custer County Board of Supervisors will meet at 9 a.m. to discuss recycling, load limits, bridge projects for Callaway and Sargent, road project budgets, and more. Click here to view the full agenda. The board will meet in the supervisors room at the courthouse.

At 12 p.m. on Tuesday, the Broken Bow City Council will meet in the council chambers at the Municipal Building. Items on the agenda include a JEO project status update, street closures for South D Street and 9th Avenue during the Hear Nebraska Good Living Tour, a public hearing for an amended wage ordinance, and payments for zoning regulations, flood risk reduction, and more.
