Satellite Dish, Irrigation Motor Stolen in Rural Columbus

COLUMBUS - The sheriff's department responded to several theft calls Tuesday, that totaled $2,300. The Platte County Sheriff's Department was initially called to 415th Avenue, where an irrigation motor was reported stolen. The motor is valued at $1,500, according to reports. A second call came in from 355th Avenue in the Humphrey area, where a satellite dish and some equipment were stolen from a property. The total value of the items missing is listed at $500, says reports. A third call to deputies sent them to the Monroe area on Highway 22, for a reported loss of 2 batteries and a radiator, valued at $300.
