On the KBBN game of the week, Sandhills/Thedford was able to hold on against Ansley/Litchfield and claim a 50-28 victory. The game was closer than the final score may indicate. Ansley/Litchfield led at the end of the 1st quarter 16-14 but the Knights would fight back in the 2nd quarter and take a 28-16 lead into halftime as quarterback Nolan Marten threw two touchdown passes in the quarter. One to Cauy Pokorny for 25 yds and the other to Tyler Swisher for 55 yds. In the 3rd quarter, the Spartans would make the score 28-22 thanks to a 33 yd TD pass from Jaden Jones to Justin Bailey. However, that momentum was short lived as Riggin Anderson ripped off a 56 yd TD run just 17 seconds later to put the Knights up 36-22. In the 4th, Ansley/Litchfield continued to show its fight and desire as Jaden Jones would hook up with Justin Bailey for a 5 yd TD pass and make the score 36-28 with 8:36 to go in the game. But Sandhills/Thedford would once again answer the call as Cauy Pokorny would score twice in the final six minutes on runs of 13 and 48 yards to make the final score Sandhills/Thedford 50, Ansley/Litchfield 28.
