Samuel Coble of Mullen and Isabelle Stallbaumer of Callaway Among “Believers and Achievers” Scholarship Recipients

The Nebraska School Activities Association and U.S. Bank recently announced its “Believers and Achievers” scholarship recipients for the 2021-2022 school year.  Believers & Achiever is a state-wide awards program that recognizes Nebraska’s future leaders. Believers & Achievers has been designed to reward high school students in Nebraska for their excellence in academics and participation in NSAA activities. Those students who show a commitment to citizenship, school involvement and community projects are honored in the Believers & Achievers program.

NSAA member schools nominate individuals to be honored. Individuals must have a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average to be considered for nomination. From those nominees submitted, U.S. Bank® and the NSAA select and honor 48 high school seniors throughout the 2021-22 academic year.  Eight of the 48 finalists have been chosen to receive a $500 scholarship.  Among this year’s scholarship winners are seniors Samuel Coble of Mullen and Isabelle Stallbaumer of Callaway.  Coble plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and participate in the Global Launch Program in Stirling, Scotland his first semester.  Stallbaumer plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and major in social sciences education.

Others from the area who were among the 48 finalists included Callie White of Broken Bow and Faith Bierman of Arnold.
