NORFOLK - As morning sleet turns to snow, travel is becoming nearly impossible in northeast Nebraska.
The Nebraska Department of Roads says Highway 91 between Albion and Lindsay, Highway 281 between O'Neill and Highway 12, and Highway 11 from Atkinson to Butte are all completely impassable.
Meanwhile, thousands remain without power in northeast Nebraska. NPPD is reporting outages in O'Neill, Atkinson and Anoka. A number of residents in other communities have told News Channel Nebraska about power outages in numerous communities around the area.
