LINCOLN — Nebraska’s Department of Transportation is reporting extreme caution on roads primarily in the panhandle and southwest Nebraska while eastern Nebraska roads vary from caution status in northeast Nebraska to normal driving conditions in southeast Nebraska.
According to the National Weather Service, the winter storm has shifted its impact to primarily southeast Nebraska where 4 to 6 inches is expected from Nebraska City to Falls City. Road conditions are expected to deteriorate this morning as rain mixes to snow in southeast Nebraska.
