NORFOLK - Kids will finally get to try out a new park in Norfolk this weekend.
Organizers say a ribbon-cutting will be held for Norfolk's new Embrace park this Sunday.
The park near the Norfolk Family YMCA was conceptualized by Norfolk Physical Therapist, Emily Afrank. Afank wanted the park to be built around inclusivity, to have a place where kids of all ages and abilities can come play. Afrank says the park will also double as a way for the kids to do therapy.
Sunday's ribbon-cutting will be held at 5 p.m.
