Ribbon Cut Friday on Kracl Meadows in Schuyler

SCHUYLER - Schuyler was able to cut the ribbon on it's newest housing development, as the town continues to expand to the north. Kracl Meadows is named after Lavern Kracl, the former member of the Schuyler Department of Utilities  and Loup Power boards. Schuyler Community Housing Specials Brian Bywater says he was glad that the Kracl family, could be there to cut the ribbon in honor of Lavern. "Since it is a senior living development, it gives some of those people, a viable, affordable living option. Many of these people having been living in the homes, that several of them actually built," says Bywater. "and by them moving out of there home, that frees up the existing home for a first time home buyer, a family." Bywater says this will mark the second completed section of the Water Tower Subdivision, and says they are working towards expanding more housing further north around the water tower.
