Resident’s Windshield Shot While Driving in Columbus

COLUMBUS - A local resident's windshield was shot while they were driving in Columbus. Columbus Police Captain Todd Thalken says a resident called police at roughly 6:50 p.m. after their windshield had been shot, with what is believed to be a BB gun, while they were driving. The damage was estimated at $250, and police are asking residents to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity where someone might be attempting to damage or vandalize vehicles. A string of windows being shot out has been reported to police, with a large majority of the incidents taking place over the past month.
