Rain And Snow Combination On Sunday Cause Accident

ARNOLD—An icy road between Dunning and Arnold sent a vehicle on a roll on Sunday, October 14. Kiosha Jeltema was driving her 2009 Nissan Frontier on the Dunning-Arnold Road when she hit an icy spot. Jeltema swerved left after contacting the ice and then overcorrected to the right sliding sideways into the ditch. The Nissan hit the dirt and rolled once through a fence and stopped on all four wheels. According to police logs, Jeltema was not injured and after Arnold Fire and EMS pulled the vehicle out of the ditch, she told the Custer County Deputy Sheriff she would drive the vehicle her relatives in Dunning.
