Pump Systems Targeted in String of Rural Genoa, Monroe Thefts

GENOA - The Platte County Sheriff's Office says motorized pump systems are being targeted in a string of thefts last week. The sheriff's office says multiple thefts have occurred between July 23rd and 28th in the rural Genoa and Monroe areas. The thefts appear to be targeting motorized pump systems that are pulling water from the Loup Power Canal. Stolen equipment includes radiators, motors, and batteries.
