COLUMBUS - The Columbus City Council will be holding public hearing for the proposed annexation of land north of Lost Creek Parkway.
The city is proposing to annex the Country Club Shores 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th subdivisions, as well as the Jim Hellbusch 1st subdivision. The annexation would mean extending city services to the proposed areas, says city documents.
The public hearings will be held on July 9th, before the 7 p.m. planning commission meeting and July 16th, before the 7 p.m. city council meeting.
Students in the proposed annexation area, currently fall within the Lakeview Community Schools district, but will fall with in the Columbus Public Schools district if approved.
