LINCOLN- The Nebraska Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a Public Hearing for public comment on the 911 Service System Act (LB938) Next Generation 911 Master Plan.
The public hearing will be held in North Platte, Thursday, October 5, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers located in the North Platte City Hall, 211 West 3rd Street.
The public hearing will be livestreamed on the PSC Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/NEPSC/. The livestream is for viewing purposes only. Citizens unable to attend the public meeting may submit comments in writing to the Nebraska Public Service Commission, 1200 N Street, Lincoln, Neb., 68508 or emailed to
[email protected] by close of business (5:00 p.m.), Thursday, October 12.
A revised draft of the Next Generation 911 Master Plan is located on the homepage of the PSCwebsite www.psc.nebraska.gov.
This is the second of two public hearings to allow comment on the 911 Service System Act (LB938) Next Generation 911 Master Plan. Once completed the plan will be finalized and
presented to the Legislature by the end of December.
