MADISON - The case against a Norfolk man accused in a recent stabbing is headed to district court.
Nineteen-year old Johny Peralta-Cardona waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Madison County Court on Tuesday.
Peralta-Cardona was arrested following a stabbing in an alley near the 100-block of W. Norfolk Avenue in late January. Court documents indicate that the victim was stabbed in the abdomen by Peralta after the two got into an argument over who was supposed to do the dishes that evening.
Peralta-Cardona faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted. He'll be arraigned in Madison County District Court on March 15th.
