COLUMBUS - Smoking marijuana is one thing, lighting up right in front of a Columbus police officer is another.
But that's exactly what 57-year-old Deborah Becker of Columbus is accused of.
According to the arresting officer, this all started as a possible case of drunk driving outside a 23rd street gas station in September.
The officer says when he arrived he smelled alcohol and marijuana coming from the woman's vehicle after which she admitted to drinking 4 large "tequilas" at a local restaurant, as well as smoking marijuana.
He adds that that's when Becker attempted to smoke a pipe-full of pot right in front of him.
Police say Becker had a two-point-zero Blood Alcohol Content, two-and-a-half times the legal limit.
This is Becker's third DUI charge. She was convicted in 2007 and 2008.
Becker is scheduled to be back in court November 15th.
