Pizza Night to Benefit Children’s Theater Association

BROKEN BOW–The Custer County Children’s Theater Association (CCCTA) is hosting a benefit buffet and reading night at the Broken Bow Pizza Hut (329 East S East St, Broken Bow, NE 68822). All are invited on Thursday, December 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. to join the CCCTA as they read stories and serve up some delicious slices of pizza.

Ten percent of sales, and tips, will benefit the CCCTA between 5 and 9 p.m. on Thursday night.  Funds raised will go toward bringing the Missoula Children’s Theatre to Custer County in July 2020 so that local kids can participate in drama.

Missoula provides students ages 5-18 with the opportunity to participate in the performing arts–on and off stage–by teaching the musical numbers, choreography, lines, and blocking. Sets and costumes are provided and in just five evenings of rehearsals, kids take the stage for a live musical production.

“I have a very deep passion for Missoula and theater so it’s important for me to keep this going for the young kids of Broken Bow and Custer County,” CCCTA leader Ann Dee Tucker said in an interview with KCNI/KBBN in the summer of 2019.
