Pizza Hut is now delivering beer to some doorsteps in Iowa and Nebraska.

The pizza chain started delivering beer in Arizona in December 2017, then expanded to California. Stores in Iowa and Nebraska are part of a five-state expansion announced Monday.

The service is not yet available in Omaha, Lincoln or Council Bluffs.

So far, stores in Beatrice, Columbus, Grand Island and Norfolk are on board for beer delivery, though only one of two locations in Norfolk delivers beer.

The pizza chain plans to check IDs at the door, so don’t send your teenager to go pay the delivery driver.

As of Monday afternoon, online ordering options for each of Nebraska’s participating Pizza Huts included Bud Light, Budweiser and Busch Light.

According to a press release, Pizza Hut plans to aggressively expand the program to 1,000 restaurants by summer. Currently, about 300 restaurants in Arizona, California, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina and Ohio are part of the program.

“Beer delivery is a game-changing lever that we’ll continue to pull in order to deliver oven-hot pizzas with ice-cold beer to customers watching and celebrating their favorite teams,” Nicolas Burquier, chief customer and operations officer for Pizza Hut, said in a statement.
