LINCOLN --A fire under the hood of a car in a Lincoln parking garage damaged up to 33 cars. According to Lincoln Fire & Rescue, UNL Inspector Richard Firebaugh reports that the vehicles were on the 3rd floor of the parking garage at 14th and Avery. He says the fire started in the engine compartment of a 1991 Grand Prix. Firebaugh said UNL has hired structural engineers to ensure the parking garage is safe following the fire.
