Osceola Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Step-Daughter

OSCEOLA, Neb. - An Osceola man, accused of sexually assaulting his step-daughter multiple times, could spend the rest of his life in prison, if convicted. A 36-year-old man, who's name is not being released to protect the family, is charged with six felonies, including 1st degree sexual assault of a child, incest and child abuse. The victim told police in a December 2017 interview that he began assaulting her several years back, when she was 11 years old. She told police that he digitally penetrated her 10 to 15 times, dry humped her multiple times, touched her breasts several times and kissed her on the mouth, using tongue, at least once. When interviewed by police, the man admitted to touching the victim illegally and dry humping her. Both the man and the victim said the last incident was around six months ago. The sexual assault charge alone carries a minimum of 20 years in prison, with a max of life imprisonment. The other five charges carry no minimum, with a max of 16 years in prison combined. He will next appear in court March 7th.
