COLUMBUS - Authorities were called to the Highway 81 and Highway 22 junction Thursday morning for an accident, that sent one to the hospital.
Platte County Sheriff's Reports say one person was transported by ambulance after the accident, that was reported at 8:43 a.m. Sheriff reports say damage to the vehicles was estimated at $2,500 and $10,000, and say a Newman Grove man was cited for failure to yield.
