COLUMBUS - Columbus and Fremont are looking at the potential for 2 to 3 inches of snow after noon on Friday. The National Weather Service says between noon on Friday and 6 a.m. on Saturday, Columbus and Fremont could See 2 to 3 inches of snow. Just south of Fremont, stretching from Butler County to Omaha, some areas could see upwards of 3 to 4 inches over the same time period. Areas like Albion, Norfolk, Wayne, Neligh, and Beatrice are looking at the potential of 1 to 2 inches of snow, with the farthest northeastern part of the state seeing less than an inch, says the NWS. Nebraska City and Lincoln also sit on the edge of the expected 2 to 3 inch range, says the NWS. Little snow is expected to hit this weekend, after 6 a.m. on Saturday, says the NWS.
