NSP Arrests Two Men on Suspicion of Stealing 2 Vehicles, Including One in Columbus

FREMONT, Neb. - Two Lincoln men were arrested in Fremont on suspicion of stealing two vehicles, including one from Columbus. 40 year-old Keir Saunders and 38 year-old Jamar Saunders were arrested over the weekend by the Nebraska State Patrol. NSP spokesman Cody Thomas says that when the troopers found the stolen Columbus vehicle, they also found an additional one, stolen from an unknown location. Keir Saunders was arrested for theft of stolen property, possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and he had an active warrant. Jamar Saunders was detained for theft of stolen property. The vehicle in Columbus was stolen on Saturday night after keys were taken out of a woman's purse inside a local business, according to police. NSP was able to arrest the two men on the same night it was reported stolen.
