BROKEN BOW–17,394 Box Tops for Education were turned in for the annual Snowball Fight event at North Park Elementary. This means $1,739.40 for the school. According to Pam Holcomb, this brings the total earnings from Box Tops to $31,107.70.
Everyone can collect Box Tops, having a child in elementary school is not necessary. The money earned is used for the Character Works program and field trips throughout the year.
Collecting Tips:
*Keep a “collection container” in your kitchen such as a ziplock baggie on the side of your refrigerator specifically for Box Tops
*Check expiration dates
*All Box Tops can be turned in any time of the year at the office at North Park
“The more people who collect means more “outside” money for our school!! The time to start saving for next year’s collection is NOW!!” Holcomb said.
