Norfolk Catholic President Leaving, Incoming Pastor To Assume Duties

NORFOLK – The president of Norfolk Catholic School is stepping down from his position.

In a news release on Wednesday, Sacred Heart Parish says that Norfolk Catholic School president Dr. Don Ridder has accepted the position of principal at Holy Cross School in Omaha.

The president duties will be assumed by incoming pastor Fr. Pat McLaughlin.

Fr. McLaughlin possesses a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Since 2013 McLaughlin has served as pastor of St. Francis Parish in Humphrey as well as president of St. Francis School. Fr. McLaughlin will begin his duties in Norfolk on July 1st.

Dr. Don Ridder has had the role of President at Norfolk Catholic School since July 2017.
