Nebraska state college system begins search for chancellor

The State College Board of Trustees has kicked off its search for a new chancellor. The chancellor oversees the Nebraska state college system, and each of the three campuses — in Chadron, Peru and Wayne — has a president. Stan Carpenter is retiring after 18 years with the system. The board this week announced that it would use Academic Search to assist with the search. The firm, based in Washington, D.C., will be paid $65,000 plus expenses. Academic Search has begun accepting applications for the job. Go to academic-search.com for information.
