For those who watch Nebraska Public Media over-the-air in the Broken Bow area, installation of a new television transmission line is planned for Wednesday, Oct. 20-Friday, Oct. 22. The Broken Bow coverage area includes most of Custer County.

During installation, there will be a television broadcast outage. Removal of the old and installation of the new system should be completed by the end of the day Friday, Oct. 22.

For the most up-to-date information, call the Nebraska Public Media Help Desk at 800-698-3426 or email [email protected] for assistance.

Once the work is finished, viewers who watch Nebraska Public Media over-the-air with an antenna will not need to rescan their television sets. This will not affect most satellite subscribers or radio listeners, but may have an impact on cable viewers.
