Nebraska Passport Program – Discovering “The Good Life”

NEBRASKA–With Summer in full swing many Nebraskans (or folks traveling to our beautiful state) are excited to experience some of the most unique sights in the Midwest. Nebraska Travel and Tourism created the Nebraska Passport Program to encourage travelers to see ALL of Nebraska.

The purpose of the Nebraska Passport Program is to lead people in every direction to find the most distinctive parts of the state. The Nebraska Passport is special because it offers a wide variety of travel adventures, including: museums, parks, restaurants, wineries, retail stores, and more.

At each Passport stop visited, participants receive a stamp, either in a Nebraska Passport booklet or a digital stamp on the Nebraska Passport App. It is acceptable for an individual to collect stamps in both the booklet and the app and submit all their stamps for prizes.

Stamps can be collected between May 1 and September 30. There is no fee to participate in the program and you can earn prizes by turning your stamps in.

Several stops in central Nebraska include:
Taylor – Taylor Community Arboretum
Burwell – Pizza Palace
O’Neill – Shamrock Nursery
Atkinson – R F Goeke Variety Store
Bassett – Bassett Lodge & Range Café
Valentine – Peppermill Restaurant & EKV Lounge

As of August 6, 64 “passport champions” visited all the 2018 Nebraska Passport stops.
