COLUMBUS - A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after an accident on 23rd Street Thursday night.
The Platte County Sheriff's Office says crews were called out to the accident near 10th Avenue, at 9:21 p.m. The accident involved one motorcycle, and the driver was transported to the hospital by Columbus Fire and Rescue, says reports.
The motorcycle suffered $1,000 in damage, says reports.
A short stretch of 23rd Street, near 10th Avenue, is Platte County jurisdiction and is patrolled by the sheriff's office.
