Motorcycle Accident Sends One to Hospital
Nebraska State Patrol arrested man on suspicion of enticement
Monday, August 7--At approximately 1:40pm on Monday, a westbound motorcycle crossed left of center of Highway 2 and struck a rear corner of a semi-trailer headed east. The accident occurred west of Ansley. According to Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) Trooper Neumiller, the 71-year-old motorcyclist is from Saraland, Ala. and was seriously injured. He was air lifted to the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. He remained conscious and breathing at the scene, but was critically injured. NSP reported that the driver was wearing a helmet. The 33-year-old semi driver of Litchfield did not experience any injuries. Ansley Fire and Rescue, Custer County Sheriff, Good Samaritan AirCare, and Nebraska State Patrol were on the scene.
