BROKEN BOW—For more than 25 years Miracle Dent has been removing dents in vehicles hit by storm damage. Steve Finney went through paintless dent training in 1993 and began traveling around Nebraska and to other states to do body work, paint, and dent removal.
“Wherever there was hail that’s where we were. We’d just go and take out hail dents and then if there was another hail storm in another place that’s where we’d go,” Finney said.
Steve said his wife Carmen has helped the most in the business through the years but the business continues to be locally, family owned thanks to partner and son-in-law Scott Behrends.
Behrends has more than 20 years of experience with auto body work and began work with Miracle Dent six years ago. Steve and Carmen’s daughter Shawna Behrends and granddaughter Kinley helped cut the ribbon as Miracle Dent joined the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday afternoon.
Finney said he hopes that by joining the Chamber the crew at Miracle Dent can celebrate a grand re-opening and get back on the map to let local customers know they are here to help with glass pit repair, windshields, paintless dent removal, body work, paint, minor dents, hail, and door dings.
“We repair the dents without having to paint, without having to damage the original paint to the vehicle” Behrends said. “It’s a lot faster turnaround for the customer,” Finney added.
