Meadow Grove Businessman That Served on Northeast CC Board Passes Away

NORFOLK - Northeast Nebraskans are mourning the passing of a longtime civil servant. Former Northeast Community College Board member Jack Warrick passed away at Faith Regional Health Services hospital in Norfolk on Monday. He was 88. College officials say the Meadow Grove native was first elected to the Northeast Board of Governors in 1986...and served for 24 years before stepping down. During his time, he was awarded the Nebraska Community College Association's Governor's Award in 1995. Privately, was the owner and operator of Warrick Lumber and Grain for many years. His funeral is scheduled for Monday at United Methodist Church of Meadow Grove.
