Man Over 3 times the Legal Limit Arrested for 3rd DUI, Resisting Arrest

COLUMBUS - A Columbus man is facing a felony charge in Platte County, after an officer says he was driving drunk and resisted arrest. Dustin Griesman, 37, is facing a class 3a felony charge in Platte County for 3rd offense driving under the influence. An affidavit says Griesman was pulled over near 340th Street on Highway 81, back in July. During the investigation, a deputy says Greisman began resisting arrest, as he was beginning to place him into custody, and was eventually able to cuff him, after taking him to the ground. The deputy states that he found a cold, partially filled, beer can on the floor of the driver-side of the vehicle. An alcohol test performed at the jail, showed Griesman was three times over the legal limit, says the affidavit. Griesman was arrested and jailed in Platte County, and is due in court for a status hearing on January 10th in county court.
